A lot of people has been asking me: 'Who is the top asp web host?' so I dedicate this post to them! First of all, whatever you want do do in PHP can be done in ASP and vice versa. You can even host ASP on Apache with applications like Chilisoft.

Like I said, hosting a website or web applications built with ASP can be done on an Apache server, but you will most likelly want a hosting site that support asp with a Mircosoft IIS web server.



Up until seven years ago, I use to build all my websites with ASP and created my own CMS all with ASP, I have about 200 websites using ASP / ASP.NET, so I searched and searched for the top asp web host. These days I use PHP (a lot of Drupal!), but I still have websites using ASP so I share with you who I think is the best asp web host in my book.



Lunarpages are definitely one of the top asp web host I've found. They have the perfect structure for hosting site that support asp. They have a nice FAQ section with a lot of information regarding ASP and technical issues you might come accross. I personally never had any problem hosting all kinds of asp website there.

Since I host about 500 websites total, I never work with only one web host for secuity reasons, it might look crazy, but if a problem occurs with on or another of my website hosting companies, I'm ready to put the switch at 'ON' with my other web host.



Another of my top asp web host is definitely 1&1, they are my go to guys for my web hosting now. I actually don't have a lot of ASP sites hosted at 1&1 (maybe 5) but like all their services, asp web hosting is something they mastered. Easy setup, great FAQ, #1 support team, I really enjoy working with them.
